Frank

Oh Franky...

The most common depiction of Frankenstein's monster was that of a mindless killing monster. This is actually a HUGE departure from the actual monster itself.

Frankenstein's montster was actually at very articulate being. Despite his gruesome appearance he yearned for nothing but equality and love. He was helpful, smart (he taught himself how to speak), and even reasonable. It was actually Frankenstein himself that was the villain.

The monster only killed to get back at Frankenstein for causing him so much strife! He gave Frankenstein a way out, a chance to stop everything, but instead Frankenstein refused.

Its an interesting read, really it is. You should check it out sometime. And if you're anything like me and can't read the book, find the comicized version of it.
